SoundWater Orcas Portable Ultrasonic Flowmeter
SoundWater Orcas Portable Ultrasonic Flowmeter
The SoundWater Orcas is a battery-powered, portable clamp-on transit-time ultrasonic flowmeter built for spot checks, commissioning, pump verification and temporary monitoring. It snaps onto the pipe with integrated cam-cleat straps — no cables, no external box — and streams flow rate, total and velocity over Bluetooth to the free Orcas app on iOS or Android. SoundWater’s benchmark is a complete install-and-measure in under one minute.
Orcas runs about 20 hours on its internal lithium-ion battery (or continuously on USB power), logs up to 365 days internally, and ships in a carry-on-sized case. Double-traverse one-piece models cover 1″ to 14″ pipe and two-piece single-traverse models extend coverage to 72″. It shares the accuracy, pipe-material compatibility and Reciprocity Architecture of the fixed-install Cypress.
