Centrifugal Pumps
Centrifugal pumps are used in a variety of applications but are most commonly used to pump water or water like substances.
In the food and beverage industry these pumps are used to transfer a variety of products such as milk, beer and spirits, chemicals and CIP solutions.
Typically, centrifugal pumps are operated using electric motors controlled by variable frequency drives or “VFD’s”.
There is a variety of designs to meet each application such as impeller sizes, seal types and material and elastomers.
