Iwaki MXM Series Magnetic Drive Chemical Process Pump
Iwaki MXM Series Magnetic Drive Chemical Process Pump
The Iwaki MXM Series is a magnetic-drive, sealless chemical process pump designed for a wide range of chemical process duties — bleach, sulphuric acid, and other aggressive transfer applications. A patented self-radiating bearing-lubrication circuit and strategically placed heat-dispersion holes give the MXM proven dry-run capability and steady performance under process-upset or poor-suction conditions.
A two-piece rear casing improves pressure handling and adds a second containment barrier, while the front casing combines an injection-molded liner of guaranteed uniform thickness with a ductile cast-iron cover — pairing chemical resistance with mechanical integrity. All MXM designs ship with ANSI 150# flanged connections and use Samarium Cobalt magnet capsules for balanced torque transmission and efficient hydraulic operation, scaling to 146 GPM.
